You hit the nail on the head my friend, I leased space to this group. But then again, most of the employees didnt have a lot of other options and the experience probably taught them a few lessons (one of them not to get involved w scentura or others like it)

Larry is a good success story. He proves that you can make it if you are willing to go the extra mile. I used to own a office in Michigan and had some good times with company outings. I wish Larry much success in the future.

I worked for scentura about 15 years ago . Did alright .got me back on my feet. Very positive environment . I met Larry and visited his house. Gorgeous. Not everyone Succeeds, kinda like life, huh? Those that quit or failed, I am curious how successful your next venture was? What I Learned there has continued to help me succeed in most all my ventures. Being the smartest guy in the room, you should be doing great by now. Good for you!

Bob, if it got you back on your feet, why don’t you work there still? Did you have to get on your knees to get back on your feet? Did they ever teach you to punctuate your posts correctly? What are you doing these days?

I’ve seen plenty of people come and go, people that go into business for themselves with the scentura opportunity, have a chance to take advantage of the free enterprise system. Meaning, they can make money for themselves without limit. So this business does work if you work, the harder you work the more money you make, but if you’re lazy you will not make anything, might as well try looking for a job and always be just over broke. For the majority of people that never make it, for them it’s always easier to say that anything is a scam and put the blame on everything and everyone else; it’s always easier to do that than it is to admit that they are lazy losers. So just because you show up in a suit does not mean you are deserving or owed anything, it just means you really know how to fake how uneducated you are, which becomes pretty apparent due to the fact that you can’t even spell correctly. So good luck to you, by all means I wish you the best luck because you definitly are going to need it.

Wow, you haters are the real joke. The company is great and YES that is Larry’s house. I’ve been there. It’s gorgeous and these pictures don’t really don’t even do it justice. Larry Hahn is a good person and has helped many people enjoy a level of success that was once unfathomable to many. I feel bad for the haters on yet another forum with some cowards.

For those reading this, please aware of who you are getting the advice from. There are so many people out there that are just hateful towards the success of others. It’s simple in Larry’s company. You complete training, you get an office. You owe nothing. Plain and simple. Direct Sales is the future!

Haters are living in the past. Poor you.

      Hahahaaha

I think the real joke is CMG/Scentura/Genesis.

Why the hell would you be refering to your perfume as “Blumpkins” (Urban Dictionary that, you will be discusted) And your employees as WPS. (Worthless piece of shit)

I called the police and reported this company to BBB. It’s a multi-level Pyrimid scam. I mean, honestly, I completed my training (illegal sales and running from the police) and waited forever, while being told to lie, cheat, steal, and swindle, while none of us went anywhere but to the slums. I mean, who the hell else would belive that evading arrest while selling shitty perfume in a parking lot is considered ‘fun’. It’s a SCAM. It’s cute that they have un-educated, un-inteligent, un-paid advocates to tell the lesser of un-employed people: “Oh I’m so successful.” My “Boss” RODE THE BUS. YEAH. My “trainer” DROVE A 300$ PIECE OF SHIT DATSUN. This isn’t a joke. I never made any money, and half the time I felt guilty scamming people. It wasn’t until a guy called the police on us and tried to have us arrested on the spot that I realized this was a scam! So I took the first job out.

And you know what, I started off at a REAL low level, from cleaning counters, to becoming a lead, manager, supervisor, Now I’m at the top, and never once have I said “Ho Hum I wish I went back to scamtura”

Heheh Thanks for the listing BTW. I’m taking it to the police and forwarding it to the BBB. =) Oh, maybe even the “Family” too. 😉

Enjoy being stuck in that office for life. I have a nicer house, nicer cars, and Nicer everything! hahahaha

My best friend is one of Larry’s many success stories. I’m typing this from the MGM Skylofts in Vegas where he put me up for the weekend during the annual meeting for Larry’s company. I met Larry for the first time today, but my friend has been with the company 15 years. He works his ass off. In return, he makes roughly $750,000-$800,000 a year, travels all over the world, has an awesome life and is his own boss. He’ll probably be making about $1 million/ year when he’s 45, and that will probably be as high as he goes. Will most people in the company do as well as he does? Of course not– but they all COULD. It’s most definitely not a scam. More to the point, dozens of people are being taken from having no future to having jobs that give them independence and about $100-150K a year salaries, with mentors who explain to them how to invest, how to save, how to not end up on the street or dead in the ghetto.
These people seem to “worship” my friend in the same way some say they “worship” Larry. They aren’t praying to them, and its not a cult: they are thanking them for giving them an opportunity that never would have been available to them otherwise.
In this economy with 10% of the country out of work, every day Larry Hahn’s company is giving people real jobs that pay real money. Some of those people will get rich. Many of them will at least be able to support their families and not have to put up with the bullsh*t that we 9-to-5ers deal with.
    Ain’t nothing wrong with that.
    And yes, it’s Larry’s home.

I actually own my own business through this company and it’s the best thing that has ever happened to me. I’m 23 years old and own my own business. This past weekend, I was just in Las Vegas myself for a company vacation/meeting.

Yes, it takes time to get into your office, but it is all worth it. To know that i bust my ass everyday I come into my office is all worth it!! This opportunity is legit, but it’s not for everyone.

I’ve never personally been to Larry’s house, but my promoting owner and others I know from the company have been to his house.

    SYATT.

I’m in training right now. Though it’s taking me longer then I wanted, I’m gonna stick with it till I get promoted out. I commit to everyone that reads this I will have my own office. Next time I write something on this site. I will be in my own office making money and not making excuses. Look for me, “Achilles”!

Think about that. Do you own a house? Nope. I’m 20 and I do. I didn’t have to become no effing pop star or scam artist.

I work for a major movie corp. 😉 DO YOU?

Google isn’t always up-to-date on their images. If you zoom out from your deceptively-close screenshot, you’ll see a large empty lot that was clearly being prepared for construction when the image was taken, as well as a couple other lots in the area mid-construction, and the completed homes looking somewhere between massive and freaking huge.

Honestly, I don’t know if he’s legit or not…but presuming he’s a liar: when you use deceptive tactics to expose deception, you are AT BEST just as bad as the first deceiver. “It’s okay to lie to somebody if it helps them,” I’ve heard it said. Problem is, it rarely ever if at all helps them…so given the choice, why not just preserve your integrity?

The landscaping and the views are very impressive. The house ,however, could have been a little bit better…

The interior is a little bit gaudy in some rooms(bedroom, foyer).I like the bathroom room, but what’s the point? The most parts of the interior are not decent…

I have been scammed by Larry for over 30 years, made an incredible amount of money, raised three kids, owned & built several beautiful homes, including one for my mother & sister of which I supported for 20 years, traveled the world, enjoy the best that life has to offer, and most importantly, I accomplished everything through helping people take advantage of the opportunity that Larry extends to anyone who is willing to work hard, and take advantage of it. Anything people need to learn, I too went through only in more time. It takes a lot of hard work, dedication, and a strong desire to succeed, while not experiencing a lot of income in the beginning, that I suppose is what people perceive as a “scam” however people do not put up any money to be given a chance. I know Larry well, and have been to his many beautiful homes including the one featured here, and know that he truly is one of the most honest people you will ever meet. Unfortunately the internet is an open forum for anyone to write whatever they want. I took advantage of the opportunity offered me through Larry, and admittedly it was not always easy. I am grateful for the many blessings, and the great times Larry has made possible for me, and my family.

Larry Hahn is one of the most generous person I’ve ever known! I started working with my mentors in San Jose four years ago ( btw every single distribution center is ran independantly, so fyi not everybody conducts their business the same way). Anyways I’m very greatful simply for the fact that I had two people teaching and guiding me. All they ever asked from me was to have a good attitude, be honest and work hard, and then they would put me into business for myself. Given that the training process was not an easy feat, it was a small price to pay for earning my own business, FOR FREE! Sure enough I finished the training process, learned how to develope my people skills through Direct Sales, and they gave me my own business for free! And for anyone who knows the kind of capital it takes to start a business knows you could be in thousands of dollars in debt and not see any profit for at least the first 3 years of running a business. Although I have not yet met Larry, his company consigned me merchandise so that way I was allowed to make a profit right away and then pay him back. Did he have to do that? Absolutely not, but I know if he didn’t I wouldn’t be here today. And because Larry gave me the opportunity to used his inventory, I was able to get out of debt and now start saving for my future retirment. Oh, and by the way I have been to Larry’s beautiful home and I have walked through the different rooms in his house ( I would hardly call it a house, it’s actually a mansion!) Oh and then he also took all the hard working business owners on an exclusive trip to Maui, he put us in the Kea Lani Fairmont Resort and treated us to a luxurious vacation! Don’t believe it? Follow my site @ SBSmanagement.biz, go ahead I have nothing to hide, and I am no different than the average person. Working for yourself is simple but not easy to do every single day, every successful person knows that, maybe that’s why the rich will always be rich and the poor will always be poor. If it was that easy to be successful everybody would be driving bentleys…right?

I have read this board and everything everyone had to say and I just want to say thank you for what everyone has posted. I went in for my 2nd interview yesterday and it went great. They told me I have the job as an Entrée level Manager and I start training on Monday. This sounded to good to be true but then I did my research and saw this website and I was amazed at what people have posted. The ones who posted negative seems like they were too laze to do any of the work the training has to offer. However All the positive post I read were great from people who actually went through all the training and opened up their own store. So thank you everyone and I know this Monday when I am going for Orientation for the first time I will work hard and bust my hump so I can finish within 7 weeks or less. Best wishes to every who is still in the company and is doing good for themselves. I’ll see you out there soon 😀

good for you adam, stick with it, and work hard and you are GUARANTEED an office…now, in life NOTHING is just handed to the undeserving, but every door possible opens to those who work for it. NEVER let anyone detour your drive for success because of their lack of integrity. If the company works out for you FANTASTIC SYATT!!! if not then part ways as friends…no sense in being a hater….i have plenty of friends that no longer work for the company and they have nothing but positive things to say…it just wasn’t for them, so why must some of these idiots leave such rude comments, idk nothing better to do i guess?

I worked with Larry Hahn in the 80’s, that’s what I said, the 80’s. To this day Larry and his generosity towards those with a desire for a better life has given me an appreciation for hard work. Larry gave me an opportunity only after he was certain I wanted it and would “do whatever it takes’. Larry filled 3 different warehouses back then with thousands of dollars in merchandise on consignment and put me in business for myself. I still feel humbled and grateful to Larry because it established a work ethic in me that is now part of my DNA. Losers will come and go, then spend the rest of their lives complaining and blaming others. I know what it takes now to be successful. I give much of that credit to a man I haven’t spoken to in 30 years. Godspeed to my mentor and my business coach, Mr.Larry Hahn.

First of all….you guys who are newly working for offices out there….u dont get “a store” ok! when they say you get your own location they are being shady and not telling the full truth. i was an owner…in the biz for about 2 yrs…worked my ass off. people making comments about “o they were lazy if they quit” are so fucking stupid! i am the most un-lazy (if thats a word) person you will meet and my ass was hustlin bottles every single fucking day…..sometimes 10 to 15 hrs a day just bc i needed 5 more or 2 more sold or else my owner would get mad! When I became an owner, it hit me like a mountain of rocks….try to tell a new mom in this economy (ya even the cheap ass pefume cuz i know yall have a comeback for that…trust me i was taught) that she cant be with her baby because she has to work for you until 10 o clock AND go out on the weekend….and you call her lazy bc she cant do that?!?! STRAIGHTEN UP PEOPLE!!!!!!!! WE ARE HUMAN, LETS ACT LIKE IT! HAVE RESPECT AND HONESTY AND BE CARING TOWARDS ONE ANOTHER!!!! get the fuck out….you become an owner and guess who works for you? you?! thats NOT what they tell you….

These last few replies are sooooo bogus, and obviously either written by Larry or one of his goons.

Anyway, his old house was on Whittier Drive in Beverly Hills and even bigger. He sold it to the Indonesian billionaire Franky Widjaja for almost $20 million
