There is a home in Dubai that is the biggest in the country. It’s owned by the Royal Price. This guy has about 11 top of the line BMWs, 2 Mercedes Benz, 2 Bentleys and one car that is silver and when I say silver I mean it’s made out of pure silver 100% and it is gorgeous. This kingdom looks like a entire city at night. I though it was when I first saw it and seen the house in the day light and it is the house itself. These are photographs I got when I was in Iraq. You are right, the Guy Dreier Robb Report 2009 Home is really great. If I could, I would also build a contemporary mansion. Though a lot of them are really cold.

This home is fantastic, albeit a little like an airport terminal (look at those metal ceilings). I can see something like this being built in Miami. Those immense windows overlooking the ocean or the bay = spectacular party setting!

However, If I were to build a contemporary home, I would probably get Guy Dreier (http://www.guydreierdesigns.com/interface.htm) to design it. His designs are contemporary, but in no way cold or warehouse like. Just look at the pictures of the Robb Report 2009 Home of the Year. Stunning!

Contemporary homes are way more interesting than the more traditional type of home that most Americans seem to prefer.

Nice to see a home on this site that doesn't have the obligatory dual staircase foyer, checkered marble floor, imitation pillars and tacky furnishings.

I really like contemporary/modern homes and this one is amazing. With how massive the space is you would think it was 60 or 70 thousand sq.ft. Great find.
