This mansion is located at 9800 Bentcross Drive in Potomac, MD. Bentcross Drive is one of Potomac’s most prestigious streets and is known for extremely large homes. There are homes of 27,000 and 32,000 square feet located on this street. Even thought the home is one of the smallest, it still comes in at a healthy 18,000 square feet. It contains 7 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a wood paneled library, biliards room, custom 24 ft. cherry wood bar, a 2200 bottle wine cellar, a swimming pool with spa, a stone terrace, and a 4-car garage.

18,000sqft and the neighborhood shack. HAH!!!

Growing up in my city ~30 years ago only doctors; lawyers; CPAs had 3,000sqft homes. The very wealthiest families had maybe 6,000-10,000sqft homes. Now seems like everyone has jumped up where doctors lawyers are in 6,000-10,000sqft homes and the super wealthy are in 20,000sqft+

I appreciate the mega mansions, but funny how Buffet lives in such an incredibly modest home for his wealth. CD Spangler in Charlotte is the same way…worth $2B+, but in only a ~4,000-5,000 sqft home. They both live far beneath their means.
