I completely agree. I was expecting much more ornamentation. As it is right now, the house looks like it belongs in Atlanta, not Beverly Hills.

The media room with the giant screen looks like an alcove at some retirement home in Boca Raton.

You can make a house immense in size and scale, but do it right.

This home reminds me of a home in Palm Beach. Sydell Miller's 'La Reverie' is exceptionally large (84,000+ total sq ft, 35000 a/c) and manages to pull off both opulence and comfort. And Sydell's has an ocean view to match!

www.davisgeneralcontracting.com

Is it me? or are the rooms way too big for her furniture design and placement choices? I'm sure the craftsmanship of the rooms themselves is excellent but they are so big, and the pieces so small and the groupings so odd that it looks somewhat unfinished.

Also the outside exterior walls work looks a bit under finished too. I'm sure it is expensive limestone but very little ornamentaion is visible.

But I did take a shine to Candy herself. She was dressed down and had a sense of humor about it all. I liked her.
