Price: $12,750,000 (sold)
Square Feet: 20,000+

A few months ago, I went sightseeing in Mendham, NJ to look at mansions. I drove up and down streets until I came across this one house. This house was one of the biggest I’ve seen in the small affluent town. The chimney stacks were extremely massive and the house looked like a small hotel. The mansion was built by renowned builders, Polo Master Builders. This house spans over 20,000 square feet and sits on approximately 10 acres. It features 10 fireplaces, six massive columns and 12 foot ceilings on all three floors. This mansion includes a 2-lane bowling alley, 15 seat home theater, wine cellar, bar, conservatory, 6 bedrooms, 7 full and 2 half baths, and exercise room.
This home was built in 2002 and is located on Charolais Farms Road in Mendham, NJ. It was on the market for a short time with an asking price of $12,750,000.

Here’s the developer’s website: http://www.polomasterbuilders.com/cp2.htm

Of course this home is absolutely gorgeous!

I wonder who owned it before? Was it a celebrity or someone like that?

I happen to know the family and person who owned the house first and built it. They moved out west after selling it. they were a very active family so new jersey was really not the place for them. Very cool family

With the recent Earthquakes in Virginia & other places, those 12 Chimneys will come crashing down with an earthquake of 5.5 or above. JUst like they did in Virginia. That Indian Point Powerplant is on a Fault line in NY that runs through Jersey too.
