The interiors, especially the entrance hall resemble The Elms of Newport, Rhode Island, however Trumbauer would have used marble on the columns. As for being stuffy, it just depends on what you can be comfortable with - and I would have no problems with it! Instead, would use the place as an indoor tennis, squase, bb court or a pool. Another beautiful mega mansion.
